I'll be 60 this year and I spent 30 of those years trying to get an unresponsive husband to love me. After a horrible divorce (that I did on the "chance" that I deserved SOMETHING else, not sure WHAT) I met and married THE man I'd always NEEDED. That was a welcomed change in MY life.
Now, I blog and wonder why. So I figured I'd MAKE SOME MONEY WHILE DOING IT. lol
Not to be. Oh, if you have hundreds of readers a day, maybe. DOOCE.COM has thousands of daily readers. (why? nothing there of any interest to ME) but she makes around $80,000 per month and was featured on 20/20 and DATELINE.
ME? I make about $80 a month and am happy for THAT much.
I enjoy reading a blog done by a thinker instead of a stinker. Thank you.

Glad you found your man, Dana. A good partner makes all the difference.
It is possible to make money blogging, but its too much work and takes too long for most people. Plus the money is in niche blogging, not personal.
